Kylie takes on the role of She-ra in a new spoof video for Will Ferell’s website, Funny or Die. Kylie filmed the  video whilst recently in LA.

Kylie was photographed out and about twice yesterday in LA, initially at lunchtime wearing a Moschino minidress and then at a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby wearing a floral Dolce & Gabbana two piece.

Kylie has been in LA recording for her upcoming 12th studio album, expected to be released Summer this year.

She also worked with Luhrmann when she made an appearance as the Green Fairy in his 2001 film Moulin Rouge.

Kylie attended Dolce & Gabbana’s flagship 5th Avenue store opening in New York yesterday, days after she accepted the Entertainment Industry Foundation Women’s Cancer Research Courage Award.

Kylie will be honoured next month before an audience of A-listers in recognition of her public battle, and subsequent work to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The Entertainment Industry Foundation Women’s Cancer Research fund made the announcement last night that Kylie will accept the 2013 Courage Award in recognition of “her fight against breast cancer and dedication to raising awareness for the disease”. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are honorary chairs of the foundation and Kylie will accept the award at the Beverly-Wiltshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on the 2nd of May, which will be hosted by Chelsea Handler.

Bruno Mars will also be performing at the event.

Kylie was given the Dancefloor Hero Award at yesterdays Logo NewNowNext Awards, and she also confirmed that her upcoming 12th studio album is “nearly finished”. Whilst on the red carpet, Kylie was photographed alongside Fergie and long term collaborator and friend Jake Shears, from Scissor Sisters.

Sky Arts has released a trailer showcasing the new series of Playhouse Presents, including an episode starring Kylie Minogue!

The trailer can be viewed here, and the episode featuring Kylie is scheduled to air on April 18th on Sky Arts 1 in the United Kingdom.

Kylie’s episode will be titled “Hey Diddle Dee”.

Also, it was announced yesterday that Kylie will be attending the Logo New Now Next Awards, airing April 15th on Logo in the United States.

It has been reported that Kylie has been lined up to star opposite One Direction member Harry Styles in an upcoming musical adaptation of classic Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet.

Other names linked to the musical aside from Kylie and Harry include John Travolta, Jack Black and Imelda Staunton.

The film is being shot by British company Shakespeare for Kids, with scenes shot across Europe and the Middle East.

It is unclear as to what Kylie’s role would be.

Kylie has also been linked to musical Walking on Sunshine, which starts filming soon in Southern Italy, telling the story of a mother and daughter who fall in love with the same man, set to a backdrop of classic 80′s hits. Holby City and Hustle actress Kelly Adams is also rumoured to be billed on the cast list.

Kylie appeared in a play of The Tempest in the late 1990′s and other film credits include Moulin Rouge, The Delinquents and Holy Motors.

Music producer Fernando Garibay yesterday tweeted a photo of himself in the recording studio with Kylie. It is understood that he is producing tracks on her upcoming twelfth studio album, slated for a release late this year.

Garibay is responsible for producing songs including Government Hooker and Bloody Mary for Lady GaGa’s Born This Way album. He also co-produced the title track.

Other collaborators for the album are believed to include Timbaland and Nero.

Kylie performed alongside Deadmou5 last night at a Roc Nation benefit gig in order to raise money for a local LA hospital.

Kylie’s two song set consisted of All The Lovers and Can’t Get You Out of My Head and she told the crowd that she was only given two days notice, so didn’t have any more prepared.
